love..pain..and the whole thing.

I started school today. I suppose I technically started yesterday but so far I don't have any classes on Monday-Wednesday-Friday. I do have a job now..I started yesterday. I overslept and missed my first class of the semester which is really out of character for me and makes me pretty upset, actually. I blame this on the fact that I worked five hours yesterday and then drove three hours home to go to my best friends graduation/goodbye party and then drove three hours back to school. I have driven way too much in the past week of my life.

Here are my classes:
REL 311 Prophets of Israel
REL 310 The Christian Ministry
SOC 213 Social Issues in the Community/World

SOC 214 The Family
SPA 311 Advanced Grammar

Saying goodbye to MaryKate yesterday was pretty awful.

That is MaryKate.. with her baby brother Carson..
Anyway.. Mary and I have been best friends since we were 15 and we went to college thirty minutes apart and we spent every moment possible together for the past seven years. She signed a two year contract to work in Arkansas 11 hours away..and although I know she is going to be doing what she loves...I'm going to miss her terribly. Bummer. I guess I should be thankful that I have someone in my life like MaryKate to miss.

I am going back to Texas on September 20th..my lovely boyfriend bought me a plane ticket to come visit him for his 23rd birthday. I'm so so so excited.

I've been pretty sad to be back. I really miss Jeremy and Jennie and all the kids. It sucks to always be missing people.
Ohhh well.

One of my books is going to cost 110 dollars. How insane is that? College..geez.

I'm not sure how often I'll post in this, considering I only know two people who use it...but it might be a good place to vent sometimes anyway.

Also, in the middle of typing this post a gigantic katiedid flew in my room and my roommate and I spent ten minutes trying to remove it. Actually..she spent ten minutes trying to remove it while I hid in the corner and squealed. ha.

Some of your classes hurt my brain= Prophets of Israel = Wow! I am glad that I am not in school anymore. I thought at least you are taking Advanced Grammar, but then I realized it was one of 'em Spanish courses. Viva Mexico

So you got a job- where? By the way, I commented on your myspace before I ventured onto your blog. So you better read those comments also :)
